Need a good home for our 3 year old purebred WPG male
« on: October 11, 2012, 02:12:25 PM »
We got our Wirehair Pointing Griffon at 9 months to be our female's best friend which promptly produced a beautiful litter of pups!  Now we have 3 bird dogs and not enough time in the day to work them all. We are hoping to find a good home for our sweet boy (unless you are a cat). Been in the field once and pointed well but has mostly been a family pet so far. We're in eastern Washington and will not ship him.  Send a PM if interested or know someone who might be.  He's a great dog with a wonderful personality and still very potent!

Do you have any pics of him? I'm trying to convince myself that I need a dog and a WPG is on my very short list. My one concern is for the rest of my kids' house pets. The cats, birds and rabbit may be too much of a temptation. :chuckle:

I have a friend that lives in richland and he lost his shorthair this summer due to old age. He might be interested and I'll try and get ahold of him on Monday when he gets back from deer hunting.
This closet is taken- go find your own

Can you tell me a little more about him?  I'm interested but have 2 younger kids etc..... and need to know what sort of boy he is.  I think I'm ready for another bird dog after losing my GSP 2 years ago (he was 17).
